Besan Laddoo is one of the popular Indian Sweets. Traditionally , Besan Laddoo is made using Chickpea flour and clarified butter or Ghee. Chickpea flour is called Besan in Hindi. Laddoo means small balls or bites. It is a gluten-free sweet.
Last year, for Diwali, I tried making Besan Laddoos by using olive oil. The taste was exactly the same as traditionally made laddos. I am sure you will love this sweet.
Key for making this recipe is to roast besan on low flame, till it becomes golden colored and turns aromatic.
