Kadai mushroom is a simple and delicious recipe for vegetarians. The recipe needs a few ingredients. There is no need to prepare a Ginger-Garlic paste or any gravy. You can prepare this recipe in less than 10 minutes. Mushrooms take a few seconds to cook. Mushrooms are rich in nutrients. The vegetables enhance the flavor and appearance of the recipe.
Ingredients

| White mushrooms | 1 pack (250 g) |
| Roughly chopped onions | 1 Cup |
| Roughly chopped tomatoes | 2 Cups |
| Roughly chopped capsicum | 1 Cup |
| Cumin seeds | 1 tbsp |
| Kitchen king masala | 1 tbsp |
| Turmeric powder | ½ tsp |
| Red chili powder | ½ tbsp |
| Tomato ketchup | 2 tbsp |
| Olive oil /Vegetable Oil | 2 tbsp |
| Salt | As per taste |
Recipe:
- In a kadhai or frying pan, add 2 tbsp of oil
- Once the oil becomes hot, add cumin seeds
- Add onions
- Cook for a minute
- Add capsicum
- Cook for a minute
- Add turmeric powder and red chili powder
- Add mushrooms
- Cook for a minute
- Add salt and kitchen king masala
- Add tomato ketchup
- Turn off the gas flame
- Garnish with cilantro
- Serve hot with Roti, paratha or naan
Tips
- Wash mushrooms and cut just before using
- You may use garam masala or coriander-cumin powder
- After adding mushrooms, don’t cook for a long time
- For this recipe, chop vegetables roughly and not into fine pieces
- If you don’t have kitchen king masala at home, add 1 Tbsp of Coriander-cumin powder and 1/2 Tbsp of Garam Masala
