| Roughly chopped sweet peppers | 1 Cup |
| Roughly chopped red onion | ½ cup |
| Cherry tomatoes | 10-12 |
| Chopped lettuce | 1 Cup |
| Finely chopped parsley | 1 tbsp |
| Kalamata Olives | 7-8 |
| Chili flakes | ½ Tbsp |
| For salad dressing: | |
| Tahini paste | 2 Tbsp |
| Extra-virgin olive oil | 2 Tbsp |
| Lime juice | 1 lemon |
| Salt | As per taste |
| Black pepper powder | ½ Tbsp |
Recipe:
For making the salad dressing:-
- In a bowl, add tahini paste, extra-virgin olive oil and lime juice
- Whisk and mix all the ingredients
- Add salt, black pepper powder and chili flakes
For making salad:
- To a salad bowl, add Chickpeas, Chopped Cucumber, Cherry tomatoes, chopped red onion
- Add Kalamata Olives, Lettuce and sweet peppers
- Add parsley
- Add salad dressing, salt and chili flakes
- Mix everything gently
- The salad is ready to serve
- You may also serve this salad in a pita pocket
Tips:
- Tahini paste is easily available in grocery stores
- You can make tahini paste at home
- Blend 4 tbsp of dry lightly roasted sesame seeds in a blender jar till you get a creamy paste
